Slacker

I've been seriously slacking with my blog, I know. Next week I'm only working 2 days because business will be really slow and so I promise I'll be better. Today I work til 7:30 and a friend from work is having a little christmas party that I want to go to but I feel like I'm getting sick so I don't know what to do. Sigh.....

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving everyone :) I hope you have an amazing day and happy tummy's!

I'm just laying in bed for a few more minutes before I have to get ready for work.  Working til midnight every night is really taking its toll on my energy levels.

Today is also the birthday of someone special to me.  That's why if you look at my profile on here, you'll see a "Happy Birthday" blog that I made for him.  He's the one person that if he asked me to marry him today, I would, and have no regrets.  So you guys can check out that blog but don't comment on it because I don't want it linking back to this one!

I need to keep reminding myself of how thankful I am to have a job in this economy.  Even if it is forcing me to work on one of my favorite holidays and not see my family.  I love my job......

It's really quite difficult to type w/ a cat on your chest but here I go.  Over the weekend I worked the overnight shift.  It was.......interesting.  Last night I went on a date that went quite well, we went to dinner and saw the MJ movie, and tonight we're going running together! 

Although I adore pink & green, I think I'm going to change my blog colors to something more winter-y.  I feel like my blog just screams springtime and is in major violation of the "no white after labor day" rule.

I have not been whittling.  I'm a whittle my middle failure.  Sad sad...

Exciting "news"

Remember that running post I did a while back?  Well, I've recently decided to just "dive right into it" and am now training for a half marathon in April.  I will no doubt need lots of encouragement but I figured announcing it on here would make it more official that I'm going to do it, and keep me motivated. 

And with that, I'm off to start my busy day!  Class at 9, straight into work until 11:30.  Thank goodness I can sleep in tomorrow since I'm working the overnight shifts on Friday & Saturday.  Good thing I LOVE my new job!
